The StatusDashboard administration portal currently supports two distinct Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations:
SAML |
The StatusDashboard administration portal supports integration with any SAML2 compliant identity provider. We have validated configurations for most major Identity Providers (IdP) including Azure/Active Directory, OneLogin, Okta and Ping Identity but we can also work with you on a specific implementation. We currently support SP initiated SSO as well as IdP initiated SSO to the dashboard. The administration portal SSO configuration can be accessed by navigating to Security > Single Sign-On > SAML SSO > Edit Configuration guides are available for configuring StatusDashboard with the following Identity Providers: |
Google Login |
The StatusDashboard administration portal supports the Google OAuth2 login service (e.g. "Login with Google"). For Google configuration specifics, please review our Google SSO documentation. |
Before configuring administrative SSO, user accounts with matching email addresses to those that exist within the Identity Provider must be created first within StatusDashboard.
Note: When configuring Single Sign-On for access to the StatusDashboard administration portal (either SAML or Google), it is best to configure your user account for SSO Bypass during testing so that you are not prevented from logging in when there are issues with your SSO configuration.
