End Users |
Subscribe Navigate to the dashboard, click the Subscribe button on the dashboard page and select the SMS icon. Enter a valid country code and phone number and select one or more services to subscribe to. We'll send a confirmation SMS with a validation link which when clicked, will confirm the subscriptions. Once confirmed, the phone number will be subscribed to event SMS messages and will receive any relevant alerts that you broadcast when managing events. Manage Subscriptions Navigate to the dashboard, click the Subscribe button on the dashboard page, select the SMS icon, click the manage button and provide a valid country code and phone number. We'll send a validation SMS which will provide access to add and/or delete subscriptions to specific services on the dashboard. Stop all SMS Messages Customers can reply to any text message sent from StatusDashboard with the message 'STOP' (no quotes) and we will stop all further SMS notifications from being sent to the phone number we receive the message from. We will consider this number blocked until we receive further instructions from the phone number. Any subscriptions for this phone number will remain intact, and notifications can be started again at any time by replying 'START' (no quotes) to any text message sent from StatusDashboard. |
StatusDashboard Administrators |
Manual Subscribe Navigate to Notifications > SMS > Dashboard Specific Options > Subscribers > [Dashboard]. Any phone numbers added here will be immediately subscribed to the associated services. Please be aware that these manually added phone numbers can be unsubscribed from alerts through the standard StatusDashboard unsubscribe process by your end users. Import Subscribers SMS subscribers can be imported from a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file by navigating to Notifications > SMS > Dashboard Specific Options > Subscribers > [Dashboard] and clicking the import icon. There are two options when importing subscribers:
When importing SMS subscribers from a CSV file, all existing SMS subscriptions will be removed and replaced with the entries in the CSV file. If you have existing SMS subscriptions and are interested in importing additional subscriptions, it is best to first export your current subscriber list, add the additional entries to the export file, and then use this file to perform the import. The CSV file must be in the following format and must be a UTF-8 encoded file if it contains non-ASCII characters: Phone Number / Service File Format Phone Number,Service Name +11111111111,service1 +11111111111,service2 +22222222222,service1 +22222222222,service2 Although when exporting the subscriber list there are additional columns present, these columns are not required for the import, and are ignored if present. All imported subscriber entries are automatically added with confirmation status set to True. Phone Number File Format Phone Number +11111111111 +22222222222 Manage Subscriptions Navigate to Notifications > SMS > Dashboard Specific Options > Subscribers > [Dashboard]. From here, you may search subscribers, unsubscribe subscribers, confirm unconfirmed subscriptions, delete subscriptions and import/export the list of SMS subscribers. |
